Spectacular flight over Iceland's infamous Eyjafjallajokull, Myrdalsjokull, Hekla & Katla

Our spectacular volcano tour takes us above the infamous and now dormant Eyjafjallajokull volcano, whose eruption in 2010 became global news, and Myrdalsjokull glacier which harbors the brooding giant Katla. From a distance we will see Hekla, Iceland’s most active volcano, the Westmann Islands and the newly created Surtsey island. En route we will fly over the Hengill geothermal area and get a good look at power plants where geothermal heat is being harnessed to provide clean, sustainable energy.
